How to get to Elba? ⚓ Ferries, timetables and useful information

The Island of Elba is connected all year round by ferries departing from the Port of Piombino (Piombino Marittima, in the province of Livorno) which in about an hour arrive in Portoferraio, the main port of the Island, or to the smaller and less frequented Cavo and Rio Marina. Departures are frequent (every 15/30 minutes), especially in high season.
