There variety of beaches and colors it is precisely one of the most beautiful features of the island. With 147km of coastline, the Island of Elba is characterized by a great geological variety. This translates to very different coves and beaches: you go from white pebbles to coves of red and yellow ocher rock, to black pebbles up to golden granite sand or even very fine white sand.

The North West side of the island is characterized by the so-called “white beaches”. A succession of beaches, little beaches and coves entirely covered with tiny very white stones and bathed in crystal clear waters.
The South West side of the Island – called Coast of the Sun – offers the most beautiful sandy beaches on the island! From Marina di Campo to Fetovaia, the beaches are splendid stretches of golden sand.
As soon as you pass Punta di Fetovaia, from then on, up to Sant'Andrea, the beaches transform into expanses of dark stone pebbles with a rounded shape, very characteristic and evocative.
